These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Canter mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by CANTER SOFTWARE DESIGN - L.L.C. ("Canter", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By downloading, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using Canter, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account on Canter. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep this information up to date.
Canter connects horse owners, stables, veterinarians, trainers, and equestrian businesses through a single platform for boarding, training, veterinary care, marketplace purchases, breeding services, and events. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Stables, veterinarians, trainers, and other businesses ("Vendors") that list services or products on Canter are independent third parties and are not employees, agents, or partners of Canter. Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of their services or products, and compliance with applicable laws and licensing requirements. Canter may verify certain Vendor information but does not guarantee the conduct, quality, or availability of any Vendor.
Bookings for boarding, training, veterinary appointments, and other services are agreements between you and the relevant Vendor. Marketplace purchases are subject to the shipping, return, and refund policies of the individual seller unless otherwise stated. Canter facilitates these transactions but is not a party to the underlying agreement between you and the Vendor.
Payments made through the Platform are processed using SSL-encrypted, industry-standard payment gateways. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Canter may charge service or transaction fees, which will be disclosed to you prior to completing a booking or purchase. Vendors may be subject to separate subscription or commission fees as outlined in their vendor agreement.
All content on the Platform, including the Canter name, logo, app design, graphics, and software, is the property of Canter or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to verify Vendors and maintain accurate listings, Canter does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, service, or product offered through the Platform, including veterinary advice, training outcomes, or product quality.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform, your interactions with Vendors, or any transaction conducted through the Platform, including but not limited to injury to a horse, financial loss, or loss of data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Platform. You may also close your account at any time by contacting our support team.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our services or for legal or regulatory reasons. We will notify users of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
